Nuclear Free Future July 29th - August 4th Ohio USA
The Gaseous Diffusion Plant, located near Portsmouth, Ohio, this plant began
operations in 1954 as part of a U.S. government expansion program for the
production of highly enriched uranium to fuel military reactors, nuclear weapons
production and for use at the Y-12 plant in Oakridge TN.
Prisoners Of Conscience Event
September 12th Kentucky USA
Every year at the Close the SOA event organized by the SOA Watch groups of
individuals will cross the federal line in an act of Civil Disobedient and risk
anywhere from 3 to 6 month some time longer prison sentences. One of the prisons
were they send people to is in Lexington Kentucky were this years event will
take place.

10th Annual Peace Pilgrimage to Close the SOA Georgia USA
The School of the Americas (SOA), in 2001 renamed the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security
Cooperation, is a combat training school for Latin American soldiers, located at Fort Benning,
Georgia. Initially established in Panama in 1946, it was kicked out of that country in 1984 under the
terms of the Panama Canal Treaty.

Walk to Stop Mountain Top Removal Kentucky USA
February 14th -17th
Over 1200 miles of streams have been buried and destroyed and countless
mountains and ridge tops have been blown up–gone for all eternity. The price of
coal has doubled and the destruction of our watersheds is accelerating and
spreading out like cancer. Our state and federal agencies charged with
protecting our environment are liquidating our mountains.

Every Year we gather at our traditional starting point Chief Little Turtle Statue in Covington KY
on the Ohio river to run, walk and celebrate the earth.

Run for Freedom
Since 1997 the Run for Freedom has been running and walking great distances to
different Communities through out the United States. Carrying the story of
Leonard Peltier in the hope of raising awareness of his case.
